TEDxとは

TEDxは、TEDの精神「Ideas Worth Spreading」を共有するために、世界各地に生まれたコミュニティーです。
「x」は独自に運営されていることを意味し、TEDの定めた運用ルールに沿いながら、各地方の独自色を出して運営されています。
TEDxのイベントでは、TED Talksのビデオとライブスピーカーが組み合わされ、深い議論とつながりを生み出します。

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

TEDとは

TEDとは、Ideas worth spreading（価値のあるアイデアを広めよう）という精神のもとに、毎年大規模な講演会「TED Conference」を開催している非営利団体です。1984年にテクノロジー、エンターテインメント、デザインが融合した会議として始まり、今では科学からビジネス、グローバル問題までほぼすべてのトピックを包括しています。YouTube上でもアイデアに満ちた動画が配信されており、誰でも、世界中のどこからでも視聴することができます。

TEDxFuchuとは

TEDxFuchuはTEDxイベントを府中市で行い、学校での教育ではできない楽しい学びを提供し、学生や社会人、シニアの方々がトークを聞き、実際に経験・体験をすることで新しいアイデアに出会い、沢山の方と交流することで新たな発見を得るきっかけ作りを行っています。

TEDxFuchu holds TEDx events in Fuchu City, providing enjoyable learning experiences that cannot be attained through traditional school education. Students, working professionals, and seniors attend talks, engage in hands-on experiences, and through interaction with many others, they discover new ideas and make fresh discoveries.

目的	世界を変えるような大きなアイデアだけでなく、世界の誰かのために活動をしている方、世界には知られたいないが素敵なアイデアをもって活動されている方のトークを聞き、実際に参加者に楽しんで体験してもらうことによって府中市の魅力を内外に発信を行う。 TEDの理念である「価値あるアイデアを広げる」に共感し、価値あるアイデアを府中市から世界へ発信する。
活動	TED(Technology　Entertainment　Design)は「価値あるアイデアを広げる」という精神の下、世界中の著名人による様々な講演会を開催、配信しているアメリカニューヨーク州に本拠地を置く非営利団体です。私たちTEDxはTEDの精神のもと、TEDから公式にライセンスを受け、世界各地で発足しているコミュニティです。「x」は独立して組織されたTEDイベントであることを意味します。TEDxはTEDから一定の制限はありますが、自己組織されたものであり、運営等は一存されています。全世界で133ヵ国、1200市町村で4300ものTEDxイベントが開催されています。私達は１年に一度府中市でTEDxイベントを行うための準備をしています。
力を入れていること	2024年８月26日にTEDx本イベント開催に向けて準備を行っています。
方向性・ビジョン	TEDxイベントを通して新しいアイデアに触れることの楽しさを実感していただき、また普段話すことが少ない年齢の方とアイデアや意見を交流することによってAIが普及し人と対面で話すことが減ってきている現代において人と出会うこと、直接交流することのわくわくを共有する。 TEDの理念でもある「価値あるアイデアを広げる」を実感していただき、イベント終了時に自己成長を感じていただくとともに、府中市に少しでも興味を持っていただきイベントという切り口から府中市の活性化を促進することが最終目標です。
